About me
Tibor BučekMy entire life story, which I spent almost entirely in international trade, is schematically expressed in my resume, which I send upon request after clicking the "View my CV". Most of my time was spent in the corporate industry.
Concrete experiences during my stay in the USA, in Russia, in China and in a German engineering company, where I was also a co-owner, gave me a picture of the different business approaches between the West and the East.
When I was approached by the Ministry of Economy 15 years ago to improve the management of foreign trade in the state administration, I gladly accepted this challenge. This is how I moved from the corporate industry to the state administration in the field of foreign trade management.

The large number of trade missions carried out around the world during the 6th year and the tuning of the process was a great experience for Slovak companies, and I am glad that they are currently being continued.
I then joined the diplomatic service. I was assigned, of course, China, with which I have been in constant contact for 30 years. As an Innovation Diplomat in Beijing, I made other excellent contacts in the field. These are mainly contacts with the innovation environment in various departments.
Due to the fact that in the past I worked as a state court expert for discoveries, patents, industrial designs and trademarks, in China I became very familiar with the system of protection of industrial rights for products and services and they were applied for the protection of Slovak innovations.
I currently work in large projects in connection with China, where I have the richest experience, and partly with Vietnam.
I am glad that after my return from the diplomatic mission in China, where I worked as a diplomat for innovation, I can continue to work again in foreign trade with Asia. After 30 years of experience in this area, I provide consulting for large companies and implement the investment interests of Chinese companies in Slovakia and also mutually in the opposite direction.
During the years 2024 - 25, I managed to build a comprehensive shop with heavy construction machinery for a Slovak construction company. In international trade and investments, I provide a comprehensive service for the entry of foreign entities into Slovakia.

My work and curiosity have carried me across continents — from long chapters in Asia to projects spanning Europe. Every destination left something behind: a partner, a lesson, a story worth telling. Explore where I’ve been, and reach out if any of these places speak to you.
I am currently developing other large projects. So far, I have not been able to relax even in charity work.
I happily apply many benefits from international trade in charity. I am a member of the International Order of the Knights of Malta (www.orderofmalta.int) and the International Lions Club International (www.lionsclubs.org) as well as the German Club (www.owwf.bayern).
Large charity projects that I implement, such as The construction of a hospital in Kenya attracts many entrepreneurs and joins the good work.
As a member ( www.tiborlions.eu ) of the GMT (Global Membership Team) responsible for all the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, I personally participated in the creation of an international activity for the development of world charity under the auspices of LCIF (www.lionsclubs.org/en/donate) during 2008 at the American headquarters of LCI in the city of Oak Brook, ILLINOIS.
Great support as a subsequent charitable act of investors can also be seen in helping the sick, such as The trip to Lourdes, which I carried out over two years with my team in 2015-16.
Yes, charity work is part of my activities for those who are in great need. Those who have more have a moral obligation to help those in need.
Considering that I have done bigger charity projects, I am happy to accept the invitation to the biggest charity event that will be held in Hong Kong in 2026.
I expressed the combination of entrepreneurial energy and my lifelong focus for charity in one slogan:

and in translation: "Earn honestly, give generously."
